We love musical theatre! We grew up in San Diego and both of our families enjoyed attending local productions. When our daughter began performing at local theatres, 18 years ago, we soon discovered that we wanted to become more involved in the San Diego theatrical community and volunteered our services, time and resources. While owning and operating a successful business together, in San Diego, for over 34 years we decided the time was right to add an exciting new adventure to our life … so San Diego Musical Theatre was born! A 501(c)(3) non-profit, regional, professional theatre, producing Broadway musicals, year round.
We are very excited about our new venture. Our goal is to offer San Diego audiences a variety of musicals each year that will touch their emotions in different ways.
Our future goals are to produce five musicals each year, increase the number of equity performers in each show and build our own Performing Arts Center. The Performing Arts Center would be the home to San Diego Musical Theatre, a place where we can develop our own youth theatre program and where other local arts organizations may perform.

Whether you purchase one ticket, are a season ticket subscriber or choose to be a donor, you will be the reason that San Diego Musical Theatre achieves it’s goals.
